History

Serving the regional community since 1958, Scenic Hills Country Club has remained committed to delivering an enhanced golf experience as its highest priority. The original Chick Adams course design was given an update in 1992, followed by a full course renovation in 2006, including state of the art champion Bermuda greens, Tifton 419 Bermuda Fairways and t-boxes, rebuilt bunkers, and the installation of continuous cart paths. In 2008, Scenic Hills debuted a brand new, state-of-the-art clubhouse valued at over 3.5M; A perfect venue for weddings, receptions, and gala-style events.

SHCC is more than just a great place to play golf and spend time with the family; the course served as the site for the 1969 USGA Women’s Open; the ONLY Golf Course in the state of Florida to host a U.S. Open.

In line with the purpose of honoring the historic heritage of SHCC, local homeowners Leo Lynne and Jeremy Reese acquired Scenic Hills Country Club in the Fall of 2017. Both Lynn and Reese bring a unified vision of restoring the Club to its original glory while delivering a new and improved state of being. The Club offers a robust calendar of activities & constantly expanding services for all ages and lifestyle.

“Our Goal is to provide a family-friendly atmosphere, open to the public, where everyone can enjoy our facility in a relaxed, but refined space.”
